Georgia Onion Processor is the largest processor of whole peeled onions in the southeast of the
United States. The peeling facility, opened in 2019, was specifically designed for onion
processing. whole peeled, sliced, and diced onions. Our Mission Statement
History
Anna Rosa Perez born in Merced, California and daughter of Mexican migrant workers. In 1996, Anna Rosa moved to Lyons, Georgia because of the Vidalia Onions with her mother and 2 siblings. She worked in agriculture as a teenager helping her mom with onions, tobacco, and other vegetables on the weekends and in the summers. Member of FFA all through high school, attended and graduated from Georgia Southern University with a B.S. in Biology. Food Safety and Operations is Anna Rosa’s strength. During her career path, Anna Rosa embraced more into onion processing and decided to open her own business. Georgia Onion Processing, LLC Operating opened in 2019 in Vidalia, Georgia.
